In a high-traffic area in Montréal’s Quartier des spectacles an installation offers a fresh look at the idea of cooperation, the notion that we can achieve more together than separately. 21 Balançoires (21 Swings) is a giant instrument made of 21 musical swings. Each swing triggers different notes when in motion, but together a composition emerge, but certain sounds come from cooperation.
A traveling version of the project, 10 Musical Swings, is currently being made for these collective moments to spread around the world.
