The 28th annual Franco-Fête was held June 10 to 12, 2010 to celebrate Canada’s rich and diverse Francophone heritage, featuring the best offerings from the Canadian Francophonie.
In celebration of the diversity of Toronto’s Francophone cultural scene, each year, starting in 2010, Franco-Fête will shine the spotlight on a specific community. In its inaugural year, they have chosen a Spotlight on Haiti with two outstanding artists including Sara Rénélik and her magical musical universe of Folk, Soul and Haitian Roots music. Sara Rénélik is an award-winning Canadian performer with a palette of disciplines including dancer, choreographer and of course, singer-songwriter. She is truly mesmerising.
